Christmas Cookies

Growing up we didn't really decorate cookies. My mom worked and didn't have much time and she dreaded the mess that often follows. At our house now we've never really done it either, I have little patience and have a hard time with the mess as well. I'm a buzz kill mom.

 
This passed week I made 5 dozen or so sugar cookies, some royal icing and let the girls go. They had a lot of fun and ate way more icing than any child needs to before bed but they were all happy with what they had made.
